Changing seasons provides us with a perfect opportunity to reflect on the past and plan for the future.

I know it’s not possible for summer to actually go quicker, but every year, it certainly feels like it does. After a long winter, this summer took forever to arrive, and in the blink of an eye, it’s over.

In June, I declared this would be the “summer of me” and it was. I tried many new things and reawakened some familiar habits.

I attended neighborhood festivals, several outdoor concerts, got back in the habit of taking walks. I ate lunch in the park by myself (taking my journal for inspiration), took a meditation class, and ventured out of my comfort zone by attending a conference where I happily discovered a whole new tribe. I enjoyed a few baseball games, caught up with old friends, attended many family outings, and as promised, I took a few naps!

But, I have to admit fall is my favorite season.

So, how will I spend the next 90 days?

I look forward to bulky sweaters, the crunch of leaves while out taking my walks, and cozy evenings tucked under a blanket with a good book. I will continue to build my network of personal and business friends. Most of all, I will continue to live my purpose helping others find their new normal through The Pink Bridge.

And of course, my journal will be with me at every step of the way. I commit to write there often and with the freedom that comes from writing words that only I will see.

How will you embrace fall? I’d love to hear from you.
